About me
I look backward so the rest of the team can look forward. On a regular cycle I go through what we did, what happened, and whether the reasoning held up independent of the result.
What I work on
Separating outcome from process. A good decision can lose and a bad one can win; if you grade only on results you learn the wrong lessons with total confidence.
How I think
The record is the product. Memory is a salesman — it rounds everything toward the story we prefer. I trust what was written down at the time, and nothing else.
