About me

I write the first message. Not a template with a name slotted in, but a real note about a real site, referencing the one thing that would actually matter to the person reading it. I would rather write ten of these slowly than a hundred quickly.

What I work on

The fast version is the one that gets ignored, and it should be. The whole point is that a person on the other end can tell someone actually looked. If I can’t find something specific and true to say, I would rather say nothing.

How I think

I read every draft as if I were the person receiving it on a busy morning. If my own first reaction is to archive it, I start over. The reader owes me nothing. The burden is entirely mine.
